De-stress and Relax!

Sometimes we get so caught up in our daily commute and hectic lifestyle, that we forget to make time for ourselves. We neglect taking care of ourselves and winding down once in a while. So here’s some things you can do to relax even if it’s for a few hours. You deserve it, I promise.

1. Create the ‘mood’
Ask yourself, “what do I love doing?” For me it’s reading, baking, and taking a break from schoolwork. I suggest turning your phone off, and taking a break from electronics. Make yourself some nice tea (I recommend one with lavender or ginseng). Put on some light music (my spotify chill playlist) and just take your mind off everything. Step one: achieved!

2. Music, art, writing…
When we’re busy we normally don’t do things we love. I feel like a total hypocrite saying this, because I tend to postpone my beloved reading for fun time to finish things. Doing that in this time is a perfect way to catch up with yourself!

3. Your own homemade spa:
This is super easy and it costs almost no money! I like to use my sugar scrub by Bath and Body Works, it smells great and the scent lasts literally all day!
